officially the first week in skool.
no classs on monday, first lesson which i bidded for, life science by prof patrick was great. fun and entertaining yet intimidating at the same time as all the classmates are yr 2-4. i'm pretty sure i'm the only yr 1 there. 2nd lesson was ltb, i was feelin really sleepy alrdy... class in the 330-645 range is a killer. -.- the 3rd class, IS101 with prof jason woodard is quite nice. his pace was a little fast though. 4th class, the comm101 is another killer, everyone is dying to speak out,like 10 hands r up every 30 secs. n theres a possibility of pple getting zero for participation marks out of 20. how can like that! not fair to all leh. those who r super kiasu will juz raise their hand every time... kao. for minds that turn as slow as mine, i think i will hav high chance to get zero liao lo. tmd. actually in a dilemma, whether to bid for 2 mod on top of my preassigned 3. now i've come to the decision to bid for only 1, so making the total 4. leaving my monday free as of now, so that i can work abit here n there. baby went to offshore to work on fri morning, so i went town wit sk and lynn to get present for karen on fri nite after vivace(a.k.a. smu's cca day). thanks to this 2 girls, who share my burden by taking turns to carry my umbrella, the goodie bag, + my laptop bag. so nice la. its damn heavy sia. almost broke my arm. u know, smu is a totally different culture, very hyper, very vibrant, exciting and outgoing type. its kinda fun to be in a skool like this, hope i will enjoy my 4 yrs here man. sat morning went ktv with lynn n my beloved, so cheap! $8.50 per person only. klunch but the food sucks. curry chix rice -.- not nice lo. i only ate 10 spoonfuls. then meet my dearest ms miao to browse for some stuffs at people's park. headed to wisma to do our endless shopping... haha.. i'm so gonna get that forever 21 top and skirt if i hav the $$. hm.... walked to dhoby ghat to get the card and mrt to city hall newyorkX2 to meet the girls for dinner. food wasnt that great there. my advice: dun even bother trying -.- my first love hk cafe is anytime better then nyny. we sang the bday song so loud that pple waitin at the queue could hear it, the whole restaurant actually turned to look at us. i know, nuisance right? its the idea of jh mama .. hehe. the plan was to out-sing(read: sing louder then) the table sitting next to us. lol was early, headed to esplanade for gazillions of pics. had alot of fun. its super crowded there at 9pm, saw mabel there too. then we left for coffee at starbucks with my cutie princess and lynn. thanks lynn n nana for giving me advice... and attempting to help me relieve stress.... love u girls... |

8th -12th Aug
tues was dinner @breeks wit the run2 group. wed was happy bday Sg, then off to camp @ Changi from thurs to sat. Camp was generally tiring.. on a serious note i neva do fall aslp during camps. but for run2, i can safely say i was like the first girl to fall aslp everynite. -.- prob it was really too tiring for me, coz i neva m able to adapt to a new environment so quickly i can slp within 5mins upon hitting the slping bag. had lotsa fun learning how to play games. 1) the game all smu students muz learn. >> diu diu diu (haha) 2) the polar bear game (got guru, killer, fishes, its basically a slping game) 3) the guessing game (batman/superman/spiderman/wonderwoman/xmen) 4) the guessing game 2(burgerking/kfc/mac) 5) the guessing game 3(black sheep baa baa/ white sheep baaa) 6) "how many mehh mehh jump over the wall?" ( i neva get this one.) 7) johnny wooshhhh (the pitch game) 8) the black magic (i duno wat its abt) 9) the yeeha game (juz coordinating ur actions) 10) big fish, small fish. talk abt entertaining pple. injured myself during tug or war, my hands muscles were strained, had a super big blue black which is still there as of now. made alot of new frens. 13 - 18 august last week of work, had 2 farewell lunches at VillAge + tea house restaurant. all thanks to my colleagues. so nice of them. my boss + colleague bought me a 1GB thumbdrive as a gift, one jap engineer got me a small small bouquet of ferroro rocher (3 "stalks"), even the cleaning auntie gave me a box of biscuits, and a box of new oreo wafer. my tutee gave me a card, plus a self made pic using sterofoam. so touched la. will miss my colleagues man. 19-21st august. was out with baby and frens for kopi etc and movie.. catch "an american haunting". sick movie la. 21st/22nd was my 80months with baby. still need to force himto buy a card for me -.- i know he wun buy one. but it will be a surprise if he did really get me one. haha. i got him a card but have yet to finish writing in it. so might give him near end of this week. sunday morning, wenta klunch with evon n ruoning. evon say we grow up liao. no longer go ktv to sing, we go klunch to see mtv nia. lol. coz we arent familiar with new songs. and i choose alot of new mtvs to watch while attempting to sing along. haha. more pics over the weekend. |

after bunny's death, i felt really emotional for 2 days......... crying whenever i mentioned him..... ='(
but then on the 3rd day i woke up feeling better, told myself its not gonna be gd to cry so much..... n i start to feel happier..... not like i forgot abt him immediately. but more like i've learnt to let it go and understand things do happen for a reason.. the loss of bunny made me woke up, that life is still really unpredictable.. nothing stays gd and unchanged for a long time. so treasure wat u have. this includes everybody, everything that u know. ok? including pets and things n plants like that.. haha 1st aug - 4th aug then we got busy trying to get darlin's present from all over the place... sasa @ wisma, to crumpler at wheelock.. then finally adidas @ cathay .... took us 3 days to get it completed. luckily we abolished the idea of lacoste, she really didnt need it... -.- thanks to lynn n na n miao for putting effort in getting her presents.. i gotta leave all things to them at last min coz i went for a camp on fri - sat. fri was darlin's actual bday... 4th aug... we went harbourfront early morning and played games @ sentosa. the best part is still the hardo-gay and the dance on the stage. which kinda embarrassed darlin alot. wahahha. its was damn funny can. laugh until got tears le. then the part whr we left sentosa for skool was draggy, tiring n shag man. but after that dinner and the amazing race was really fun. we run like neva b4 and manage to came in 4th w/o completing all stations, n considering we left abt 20mins later then all groups. the small games was fun, one of them including other the writing of "metamorphosis" in the air with our butts with a whole bus of passengers looking at us.. hilarious. one of us also was waving at the passengers on the bus. haha tired ourselves out during this game coz it really made us ran n my legs are still aching today... after nite snack was bathing time, the gym toilet was gd, very spacious and cool looking. then we discussed our performance - each group had to come up wit a skit of 3 mins long. our idea was Visa - richard gere's lucky birds performance with lotsa laughing elements incorporated. at the actual nite of performance, we raelly managed to made the crowd laugh, acheiving our goals.. my group KO at 130am, after much discussion and rehearsal.. surprisingly i KO too n slpt soundly til 7am in the morning.. i m always unable to slp at camps becoz i cannot adapt to new places easily... anyway muz be the room too cold and the slping bag very comfortable. i slp like a cocoon. -.- wrapping myself entirely. breaky was bread + butter + egg + hotdog + milo.. i still love nutella.. hehe. its my breakfast at dx's place usually. after that was playing human size monopoly, running to the different locations in skool to play the games. very fun!! then we had lunch and debrief, wenta finish up our props and get ready for the dinner gala... the performances by each group was rather funny. its definitely something interesting.. dinner was gd, buffet was nice and we had to interact with dean n profs, then we clear up our stuffs and finally the camp was over. 5 aug - 6th aug then we took another million pics or so and sent wanling out.... came back we packed and started was abt to leave when we decide to help darlin's mum n bro to carry the stuffs out to take a cab... |
